Blood red moon

I had a talk with my dad yesterday when we were in the car and he took me out of school about an hour earlier than usual. I've been getting my grades back and he's been seeing them and getting positive emails and all that good stuff from my teachers. Except from english, I recently got a detention for academic dishonesty.

I was told today when I went in to a meeting today for that situation, that when they put it on my record, they're not going to put it as 'academic dishonesty' because UC schools look for things like that. It says a lot about a person but it's a weird situation to explain so I'm not going to do it.

Again, I was talking to my dad and he said with the grades that I'm getting right now, I can easily apply for UC schools of my choice. This made me feel really good. Santa Barbara kept popping into my head. I don't know about UCSB, it seems as though that school recently keeps appearing everywhere, that's one for sure choice. Then UCSF comes to mind, then UCSC. I'll have more than enough time to think all this over.

Then.. THEN.. I get one phone call from Rosary that can change everything. Not exactly for the worse, Rosary is a "hard" school. Sunny hills absolutely is not. Oh well.

I'm finished now. I'm typing with mittens on.
